Long term alcohol abuse can lead to neurological effects, mouth cancer stomach ulcers, stomach cancer, fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, pancreatitis, high blood pressure, and heart problems.
Long term marijuana abuse results in memory loss, difficulty learning new material, psychotic symptoms. According to this scientific study, persons abusing marijuana risk psychotic disorders and significant memory impairment.
